Woodridge is a 145 acre farm in rural Girard IL, owned by Sheila and Gary Hoskins. The farm consists of wooded acreage, ponds, creeks and rolling hills for our dogs to run and play. We strive to raise happy, well socialized, quality AKC Aussies and Miniature American Shepherds. Our dogs are part of our family and everyday routine, from going to work with us, to dog shows and training classes. Our lives pretty much revolve around them, and that's the way we like it.
A couple times a year we will have litters that will consist of pet/ companion and also show/ breed Mini American Shepherd puppies. They are raised in our home with children to ensure that each puppy receives the special attention they deserve. We only breed health tested parents that are cleared for specific health issues that may be hereditary in our breed. Tests include Pra/PRCD, Hereditary Cataracts, MDR1, CERF, and OFA or PennHip.
Our goal for our breeding program is to meet or better the breed standard with each litter we raise.
